Don’t be the reason someone goes without a meal tonight, or the reason they end up on their knees after eating. Even if you think it is funny they may not. 


“I wish I had an eating disorder. People just get them to be skinny, then you can stop.” Is that what you think it is? Something you can just turn off as you please? I am telling you right here and now it is not that easy. I wish everyday I never developed an eating disorder. Do you think it is fun? Crying every damn time you look in the mirror because you can’t see any beauty. Working out constantly because it is the only time you feel in control. Skipping meals to feel beautiful even though you are starving. Forcing your fingers down your throat every time you eat to feel good. Do you think this is fun? Please don’t try and become the monsters an ED brings out.

Tell me something, would you like it if someone told you who you are is wrong? If someone told you that the love you have for someone isn’t right? If someone constantly hated you because you are in love? If someone told you that you are going to hell for simply expressing who you are? If someone tells you no one can love you because who you are isn’t normal? How would you feel? You would feel like absolute crap wouldn’t you? If you don’t want to be treated that way, then don’t treat others that way. Love is love, it doesn’t matter what gender it is with.

What you can do to keep yourself here longer? Well there are many things you can do. You can go get real help and talk to someone who can professionally help. Of course there are many more options, like just talking to someone every time these thoughts occur.

You have lost your hope haven’t you? You just can’t seem to find something to hold onto anymore can you? Well here let me give you a little hope.. tomorrow is a new day am I correct? You have no clue what it may bring. It could bring the happiness you have always wanted, it could bring the person you are meant to be with for the rest of your life, it could bring a friend that you have always yearned for, it could be anything but you wouldn’t know if you ended it.

You are numb aren’t you? You think no one cares right? You are wrong. Someone out there cares, someone out there is thinking of you right now, someone out there would kill to see you smile but just because you don’t know they think this of you does not mean you are alone. You may not see the love you get right now but if you were to end you will never get to see it.

The days are hard and I get that. You have fought this long so why give up now? Your heart is beating for a reason, if you weren’t meant to be here you wouldn’t be. You were given this life because you could handle it. Don’t give up now when you have come this far.

It is not worth it, giving up is never worth it. You know what is? Fighting and saying I beat this. Always keep that in mind dear.


You know those tears running down your face right now? You know that razor you keep hidden in your room? You know those pills you have somehwere within reach? You know that hatred you are carrying for yourself? You don’t deserve it, or need any of it. Wipe those tears and put on a smile, you deserve it more than anyone. Grab that razor and throw it away, don’t let this addiction ruin you. Find those pills and dump them out, tomorrow is a new day. Love yourself for who you are because honestly who you are is more than enough.

Suicidal? Talk to me. Self Harmer? Talk to me. Anorexic or Bulimic? Talk to me. Raped? Talk to me. Gay? Talk to me. Broken? Talk to me. Need a friend? Talk to me.

Don’t hesitate. I am always here for those who need me.


You are beautiful. You are worth more. You are not a failure. You are strong enough. You are you and that is all you need to be.

Believe me when I say I know what it’s like. I know what it feels like to sit there and hold the razor to your arm because it seems like the only thing that is really there for you. I know what it is like to hold the bottle of pills in your hand, write your note and be ready to end it because you have no more hope left in you to keep on going. I know what it is like to skip meals or throw them back up because you don’t feel pretty enough and you feel like you deserve it. Do you? Do you really deserve this hell you put yourself through? No. YOU do not deserve this, NO ONE deserves this. So stop, stop thinking that hurting yourself is the only thing you have left. STOP thinking that you are not beautiful enough. STOP thinking that there is no other way out than to leave. It is scary and it is hard, but do you know what else it is? WORTH IT.

Pick up that fork and get off your knees, you are so much more beautiful than you give yourself credit for.

Throw out those pills, tomorrow is a new day and you need to be around to see it.

Put down that razor, you are worth so much more than the addiciton that you are fighting.
